2. Apical 2 chamber view To evaluate all parts of the left ventricle, we use multiple projections. The probe is rotated about 60 degrees counter clock-wise and we see what is called the 2 chamber view. Here we can see the left ventricle, left atrium, and the posterior and anterior walls of the left ventricle. We can evaluate the contractions in these parts of the ventricle and see if the patient has had a anterior wall or inferior wall infarction.
