Patient history: 46 year-old female with metrorrhagia and known myoma of the uterus. As a result, a supravaginal uterus amputation was performed.

The image to the left reveals a section through the uterine wall with an endometrium that includes areas with proliferating glands. One can see en area with closely situated, irregular glands lacking intervening connective tissue and partially including cribriform glandular tissue.
