Here you see the tubuli seminiferi, and in between them, the interstitium  (from cat testis). This is a 1 µm-thick section from plastic-embedded material and coloured with paraphenylen diamin (PFD). Because of this it looks differently from the human sections, which are stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H+E).
